The website will automatically suggest the latest stable version. Ensure you select the Windows version (no native macOS version exists; Mac users need Boot Camp or a virtual machine). There is also an option to download additional content packages (luminaire data, textures, etc.) – it is recommended to get these as well.
Choose between “Typical” (recommended for most users) or “Custom” (to change installation folder or deselect components). The default path is C:\Program Files\DIAL\DIALux evo . dialux evo download
The installer may prompt you to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables or DirectX – these are necessary. Click “Yes” or “Install.” The website will automatically suggest the latest stable
DIALux evo does not require registration to download. However, creating a free user account allows you to access saved projects online, receive update notifications, and download extra manufacturer luminaire data. You can skip registration and download as a guest. Choose between “Typical” (recommended for most users) or
Read and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). DIALux evo is free but still protected by copyright.
The installer will first ask for the installation language. Select your preferred language for the setup process (not the software language – that can be changed later).
