The tower knew me as Echo-997, but my crew—the few who could stomach my antics—called me "The Ringleader." By day, I was a by-the-book dispatcher. By night, I became the scourge of virtual airspace: a flight simulator hoodlum . flight simulator hoodlum
The final heist was the "Thunderbird Heist." I painted a garbage scow in fighter-jet livery, filed a flight plan for Mars, and performed a barrel roll through the St. Louis Arch at Mach 2. My virtual license was revoked seventeen times that night. It started innocently
