She slammed the laptop shut.

A procrastinating IB student discovers that ManageBac has a glitch that lets her submit late work, but IBGMIS (the grading moderation system) demands a price. Maya stared at the screen. The little green dot next to "Mathematics AA HL" was grey. Ungraded. But the red text below it screamed: OVERDUE (72h) .

"No." She refreshed ManageBac. The wheel spun. Spun. Spun. "ManageBac submission retracted
