The back touchpad—that glossy rectangle on the rear—was assigned to "spin attack." In theory, this kept your thumb on the jump button. In practice, during the frantic "Slippery Climb" level of Crash 1 , your ring fingers would twitch, accidentally triggering the spin, sending Crash spiraling into a bottomless pit. You learned to hold the Vita like a raw egg, terrified of touching the back panel. Flawed
