Ratsimilaho

That is an interesting post—just the name "Ratsimilaho" on its own.

For those unfamiliar: (c. 1690–1750) was a legendary figure in Malagasy history, often called the "father of the Betsimisaraka people" on the east coast of Madagascar. His story is remarkable: he was the son of an English pirate (often identified as Thomas Tew or, more likely, Captain James Plantain ) and a Malagasy princess from the Antongil Bay region. Raised partly in Europe, he returned to Madagascar as a young man, unified several coastal clans, and established a confederation that resisted both slave-trading and foreign domination. His legacy gave the Betsimisaraka ("the many inseparables") their name and identity. ratsimilaho
