This is not a land, but a water world. The Orinoco River is one of the longest in South America. This region is the river itself, its islands, and its banks. During the rainy season, the river can swell to over 50 miles wide! It is full of strange creatures: the giant river otter, the electric eel, and the mythical Tonina (river dolphin).
