Sharad | Ritu Month __top__

The Sharad Purnima (full moon) is the headline act. The moonlight is so clear and cool that mythology says it showers amrit (nectar). But even during the day, the light is golden and sharp. Every photo looks filtered. Shadows are long, and sunsets are fiery.

Having just transitioned out of the heavy humidity of Varsha Ritu (Monsoon), I’ve spent the last several weeks immersed in Sharad Ritu (roughly mid-September to mid-November). Here is my honest review of this celebrated season. 1. The Weather (Perfect 10/10) Sharad Ritu is the Goldilocks of seasons—not too hot, not too cold. The sky clears to a brilliant, deep blue. The oppressive humidity vanishes, replaced by a crisp, cool breeze. The sun feels warm on your skin, not scorching. For outdoor living, this is peak performance. sharad ritu month
