Shinki-236, multispectral sensing, autonomous navigation, embedded vision

The Shinki-236 uses a CMOSIS CMV20000 sensor with a custom filter array. The 236 spectral bands are distributed non-uniformly: 80 bands in the blue (400–475 nm), 76 in green (475–600 nm), and 80 in red/NIR (600–1000 nm). Data output is via USB 3.2 or GMSL2.

We compared the Shinki-236 against a Specim IQ and a Headwall Nano. Metrics: spectral accuracy (using a calibrated monochromator), frame rate (using an FPGA timestamp), and power draw (Keysight N6705B).
