The screen flickered. For a moment, nothing. Then, the familiar deep-blue interface of SeaFrame faded in. And there she was.
He remembered that summer. His mother, Marina, had been an early vlogger. Not YouTube. She’d used some obscure Silverlight-based platform called SeaFrame for her art critiques. At 9 minutes and 47 seconds, Chrome froze. The video stuttered. Marina’s face pixelated into a smear of blue and black.
