Sonic CD but… better. 💿✨
For years, Sonic CD has been caught between multiple ports – the original Sega CD, the mediocre 2005 GBA port, the decent 2011 Christian Whitehead remaster, and now the Steam/Modern console version. But even the 2011 release has small issues: missing special effects, slightly off audio sync in cutscenes, and no native way to toggle soundtracks without mods. sonic cd restored
Has anyone else tried it? I just finished a full playthrough with both soundtracks and it’s shockingly good.
You’ll need the 2011 Steam version as a base and a small patcher – but after that, you’re playing the game the way Sega should have re-released it. 🔗 [Link to project page / GitHub /
