Raj (the protagonist) is a middle-class, simple-hearted boy who loves his girlfriend, Priya, more than life itself. He works a 9-to-5 job to buy her gifts, waits for her in the rain, and fights the world for her.

Priya dumps him. Not just dumps him—she thukra’s him (spits on his love). She leaves him for a rich, flashy business tycoon, mocking Raj for being "poor" and "not ambitious enough." Raj is left broken, on his knees in the middle of the road.

5 years later. Raj is unrecognizable. He has channeled his heartbreak into ruthless ambition. He is no longer the nice guy; he is now a billionaire investor. He returns to his city to launch his biggest project—buying out the company of Priya’s rich husband.
