USBDK, short for USB Driver Kit , is an open-source Windows kernel-mode driver developed primarily by the VirtualBox open-source project (Oracle) and also utilized by other virtualization platforms like QEMU. Unlike standard Windows USB drivers that assume exclusive physical access to a USB device, USBDK is specifically engineered to facilitate high-performance USB redirection from a host operating system to a guest virtual machine (VM).
