slmgr.vbs /dti Call the Microsoft activation hotline (the number appears on screen), provide the Installation ID, and receive a Confirmation ID. Then type:

slmgr.vbs /ipk YOUR-PRODUCT-KEY slmgr.vbs /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX windows 7 activation cmd

slmgr.vbs /xpr Or to see detailed license information: provide the Installation ID

You will see a pop-up message: "Installed product key successfully." Click OK. To activate Windows immediately over the internet, type: windows 7 activation cmd
