The problem? Pastor Rob is a kind, guitar-playing, jeans-wearing millennial minister, which Meemaw finds charming. But Mary is horrified. Not because of the age gap (Meemaw is in her late 60s, Rob is in his 30s), but because her mother is dating anyone outside of marriage after Mary’s father died. To make matters worse, Mary is sworn to secrecy—she promised Meemaw not to tell George.
